The Maricopa County Historical Aerial Photography Web Application offers a simple interface to compare the latest Ortho Aerial Imagery with those taken one, two, five, ten years in the past dating all the way back to 1930.
In addition, this web application allows you to search and display the full Parcel Database comprising of more than 1.7 million parcels in Maricopa County.
There are embedded hyperlinks to every parcel to open the Maricopa County Assessor, Treasurer and Recorder web pages to gather more information.
After zooming to your area of interest, you can use the Google Maps widget to launch Google Street View or explore your world in 3D.
You can use the Pictometry Widget to view high-resolution oblique imagery of your study area.
You can generate presentation quality PDF Maps with a custom map title, map scale, map legend, north arrow adding author and copyright information.
The Web Application has been designed using the latest ArcGIS Experience Builder technology from ESRI.
Here are some quick tips:
You can have multiple widgets open at once. Open widgets are shown by orange icons.
Closed widgets are shown with a blue icon.
Clicking on a blue widget icon opens it.
Clicking on an orange widget icon closes it.
Drag a rectangle with your mouse while holding down the Shift Key to quickly zoom to your area of interest. On a Tablet, you can pinch with two fingers to zoom in and out.
The easiest way to zoom to your area of interest is to enter the Street Address in the Search Tool.

If you do not have the exact house number, you could enter the nearest Cross Street separated by an “&” character.

Turn on the Parcel layer and click on any parcel to open a Pop-up window showing the embedded links.
Use the Near Me Widget to drop a point on the map and find the nearest Parcel, Subdivision, Zip Code and City.
Open and activate the Swipe Widget to compare the 2022 Aerials with past Aerials.
Always have the 2022 Aerials turned on. They would appear on the left half.
Turn on past Aerials one layer at a time. They would appear on the right half.
Expanding any Aerial Layer Group will show the sublayers. You can turn on the Footprint layer to get the exact flight date, image resolution and Tile Number.
Activate the Google Pegman Tool in Google Maps to explore the Street View and Photo Sphere images.
Turn on Globe View with the Satellite imagery in Google Maps to explore your world in 3D.
Hold down your Control Key.
Dragging the mouse vertically changes the Tilt.
Dragging the mouse horizontally changes the Rotation.
The Query Widget allows you to use an Attribute Filter alongside a Spatial Filter. Both are active by default. To avoid confusion, disable the Spatial Filter while applying an Attribute Filter. Blank out the Attribute Filter while applying a Spatial Filter. You will always get your desired results.
