Notice how the map zooms in by one level.
Press the Zoom In Tool one more time.
The map zooms even closer.
There is a faster way to zoom in to your area of interest.
Hold down your <Shift> Key and then click on a point on the map with your left mouse button.
Do not release your left mouse button!
Drag your mouse to draw a rectangle.
Release your mouse.
The map will zoom to the extent defined by your rectangle.
On a tablet you may not have access to a mouse.
To zoom out, use two fingers to pinch out.
